Tattoo Aftercare Instruction Card

Your Tattoo Healing Journey:

FIRST 24-48 HOURS:

  1. Keep bandage on for 2-4 hours after session
  2. Gently wash with antibacterial soap and lukewarm water
  3. Pat dry with clean paper towel (avoid cloth towels)
  4. Apply thin layer of A&D ointment for first 2-3 days

DAYS 3-14:

  1. Switch to Lubriderm lotion (Dana's professional recommendation)
  2. Apply 2-3 times daily - less is more!
  3. Your tattoo will peel naturally - DO NOT pick or scratch
  4. Avoid soaking (baths, pools, hot tubs) until fully healed

WARNING SIGNS - Call immediately if you experience:

  1. Excessive redness or swelling after 48 hours
  2. Pus or unusual discharge
  3. Red streaking from tattoo site
  4. Fever or chills

Permanent Makeup Aftercare Instruction Card

Your PMU Healing Timeline:

DAYS 1-7: Critical Healing Phase

  1. Keep area clean and dry
  2. Apply A&D ointment sparingly 2-3 times daily
  3. Avoid water directly on treated area when washing face
  4. Sleep on clean pillowcase nightly
  5. NO makeup on treated area

DAYS 7-14: Peeling Phase

  1. Continue A&D ointment as needed
  2. Area may appear lighter - this is normal!
  3. Avoid picking at scabs or flakes
  4. Still no makeup on healing area

DAYS 14-30: Color Return

  1. Your true color will emerge gradually
  2. You may resume normal skincare routine
  3. Schedule your touch-up appointment (included in service)

AVOID FOR 2 WEEKS:

  1. Swimming, saunas, excessive sweating
  2. Direct sun exposure
  3. Retinol or acid-based skincare products
  4. Sleeping face-down
